Some Firsts and a Favorite!

On March 1 Fallyn took the highlighter out of my hand and really started drawing!  I didn't realize that she was ready...

Ok, well maybe she wasn't ready, I quickly make a trip to Wal-Mart and bought some washable markers!  Now I have discovered Crayola Color Wonder-the best thing going-the markers show up clear on everything except for their special paper!!  It gets expensive but it's awesome!!

It hasn't snowed much this year but Fallyn helped me shoved on March 5!

First time napping in the cart, well like this...she just couldn't make it!

Fallyn truly LOVES babies!  She walks around and points to her friends and says "Baby!"  She also just adores her baby doll, she rocks it and kisses it all of the time.  It's so funny when she tries to feed it, kinda frustrating because the baby won't eat!

On March 22 we headed up to the Gros Ranch and fed the horses with Emily and Remi.  It was super fun and I don't even like horses!  Fallyn used to say "Na" for horse but now she spits and blows raspberries, nice, thanks Gros Family for the real experience!

Another new word came about after the visit to the ranch, her new best friend Otter the dog, Fallyn now calls all dogs "Oooottteeerrr"

Friends are joining Fallyn as 1!

Last week we celebrated Remi Gros' 1st Birthday!  Emily planned a fantastic Pirate Ship Party!  Here is a snapshot of the fun!

Fallyn Turns 1---on 1-11-12

Happy Birthday to Fallyn!!  It's true she likes sweets like her mom, uh oh!!

Ok, the walking thing is truly life changing for all of us!  We haven't had a second to update because Fallyn is into everything!  She goes up and down the stairs, talks all day...she is a busy girl, here are some pictures of her first few days as a 1 year old!

Congratulations to Kelly and Greg on their beautiful baby girl Parker Rose Goforth!  Born on October 3, 2011!!  We visited when she wasn't even a month old yet, were we all crazy-YES!  Well, really it was a ton of fun and the memories will be with us forever!  This was not a typical Dan-Jill-Greg-Kelly adventure...

First the car turned into a baby fiesta of car seats...

Greg and Dan put together Parker's highchair so Fallyn could do some eating, it wasn't as easy as they thought...

The boys needed to relax after all of that hard work so they went fishing of course...

And once they outgrown the swing, they learn to love it in a new way, Fallyn would not let Parker's swing go!

Busy 9th Month!

As we near the end of Fallyn's 9th month it's hard to believe how far we have come and what we are doing!  Today was such a wonderful day with our sweet girl, she is sleeping and eating and sometimes pooping!  Here are some photos her traveling to Maine and Boston.  Next up, Rochester NY.
